Africa-Press – Cape verde. <\/strong><\/span>Cape Verde’s parliament unanimously approved this Wednesday the first amendment to the new nationality law, whose proposal had been removed from the agenda in the previous session.<\/p>\n

The document presented by the Government was generally approved unanimously by the 63 deputies present in the session room \u2013 Cape Verde’s parliament is made up of 72 deputies.<\/p>\n

34 deputies from the MpD, 25 from the PAICV and four from the UCID voted in favor of the amendment.<\/p>\n

As announced by the president of the National Assembly, Austelino Correia, the proposal will now \u201cdownload\u201d to the specialized committee for the \u201cnecessary adjustments\u201d, and then return to the plenary, for approval in the specialty.<\/p>\n
