Africa-Press – Cape verde. <\/strong><\/span>The President of the Republic, Jos\u00e9 Maria Neves, will travel this Friday, February 2nd, to Ivory Coast, to support the National Football Team, in the CAN Quarter Finals game, among other points on the work agenda . Information provided today in a statement from the Presidency.<\/p>\n

In the same statement, the Presidency stressed that the Head of State, due to the moment of mourning, was unable to travel to Abidjan last Sunday to watch and support the national team in the game against Mauritania, but will now be able to fulfill the purpose of being with the Blue Sharks at this crucial moment, taking with them all the energy of the Cape Verdean Nation.<\/p>\n

Jos\u00e9 Maria Neves rejoices at the unity and affection that Cape Verdeans, in the country and in the vast diaspora, have shown around the national teams in these disputes in high-level African competitions and urges everyone to continue with the same positive wave, an important contribution so that our victors continue to win.<\/p>\n
