In a press release this Wednesday, 21st, the Government states that strengthening dialogue aims to find solutions that guarantee the desired cohesion within the organization, preserving the principles of peace, security and democracy.<\/p>\n

In the context of the withdrawal from these countries, the executive guarantees to be closely monitoring the evolution of events in the Region. They recognize the impacts that this decision could have, especially with regard to the countless citizens of these countries who live in other ECOWAS Member States. The statement emphasizes the importance of continuing to make efforts so that ECOWAS remains a space of peace, security and democracy.<\/p>\n
