Africa-Press – Cape verde. <\/strong><\/span>Former Chelsea and AS Roma manager, Jose Mourinho has backed Portugal to win the Euro 2024.<\/p>\n

The Euro 2024 will commence from 14 June \u2013 14 July, this year and the host nation is Germany.<\/p>\n

Speaking on Vibe with Five podcast on Thursday, Mourinho also tipped England among the favourites to taste glory in Germany with a squad that includes the likes of Jude Bellingham and Harry Kane.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt is a very good generation,\u201d Mourinho said. \u201cThey [England] got to the Euro [2020] final, they can do it.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe mentality of the guys who have gone abroad, Bellingham for example, I believe there is something that separates him from the boys that were born in England, developed in England, and are playing in England.<\/p>\n

He added, \u201cI cannot say I wish they [England] do it because I think Portugal can do it and I wish Portugal would do it.\u201d<\/p>\n
