Africa-Press – Cape verde. <\/strong><\/span>This Friday, the Brava District Court imposed preventive detention on three individuals suspected of several residential robberies that occurred in recent months, the National Police reported.<\/p>\n

According to a police source, through complaints, the arrest, outside of a flagrant crime, was carried out in compliance with a warrant requested by the National Police itself.<\/p>\n

\u201cIn carrying out the search and seizure warrant at the suspects\u2019 homes, a certain amount of money was seized, including dollars and escudos, two cell phones, several items of clothing, perfumes, among other belongings,\u201d he reported.<\/p>\n

The individuals, all male, aged between 19 and 20 years old, residing in Nova Sintra, were arrested on Thursday, 22nd, for various crimes of theft from residences, which occurred in the last few days in the towns of Cruz Grande and Cruz das Almas, in the city of Nova Sintra.<\/p>\n

The detainees, according to the same source, were present this Friday, 23rd, at the Brava District Court for the purpose of the first judicial interrogation of the detained defendants and the application of a measure of personal coercion, having been placed in preventive detention.<\/p>\n

The National Police asks for peace of mind from the population and encourages reporting, whenever there are cases of this type and beyond.<\/p>\n
