Africa-Press – Cape verde. <\/strong><\/span>The Pedro Pires secondary school, located in the village of Ponta Verde, north of the municipality of Sa\u0303o Filipe, is promoting a careers fair today under the motto “my choice, my future\u201d.<\/p>\n

The careers fair is organized by the vocational and professional school guidance office (OEVP) of the Pedro Pires school and aims to provide students in the 9th to 12th years of school with information about professional areas and the job market in order to help them. them in the process of choosing and making decisions regarding the areas and professions they intend to pursue.<\/p>\n

The school’s director, Jose\u0301 Fide\u0301lio Andrade, told Inforpress that the fair will take place throughout the afternoon today and that, after the opening ceremony that will take place in the school’s auditorium, students will be sent to their respective rooms for contact with professionals invited to this edition of the careers fair.<\/p>\n

The professional’s profile, their day-to-day role, area of \u200b\u200bactivity, possible difficulties and job market are some information considered relevant that the invited professionals must share with the students.<\/p>\n

The management of the Pedro Pires school also highlights that school and professional guidance increasingly plays a leading role in the preparation of young people, allowing them to create their vocational and professional projects, challenging the complexity of the educational system and its connections with the job market.<\/p>\n
