Africa-Press – Cape verde. <\/strong><\/span>The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Cooperation and Regional Integration, Rui Figueiredo Soares, met today with his Greek counterpart to explore areas of cooperation.<\/p>\n

The two leaders \u201cexchanged views on the development of bilateral relations and showed interest in exploring areas of cooperation such as tourism, the environment, renewable energy\u201d, reads a note from the Cape Verdean Government.<\/p>\n

The meeting between Rui Figueiredo Soares and George Gerapetritis, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Greece, took place on the sidelines of the 9th edition of the Nosso Oceano conference, in which a Cape Verdean delegation led by the Prime Minister, Ulisses Correia e Silva, participates.<\/p>\n

Both also addressed the two countries’ relations within international organizations, as well as \u201cthe implementation of the bilateral consultation mechanism and signing of agreements to facilitate investments\u201d.<\/p>\n
