Africa-Press – Cape verde. <\/strong><\/span>Topbrands, a supplier in the toy, technology and homeware segments, recorded, in 2023, a turnover of 6.9 million euros, an increase of 12% compared to 2022, and plans to internationalize the business, according to a statement.<\/p>\n

In the note, the group \u201cannounces a total of 6.9 million euros in turnover in 2023 and the intention to internationalize the business. Poland and Angola are the two potential markets for this year\u201d. In the previous year, the company had recorded a turnover of 6.15 million euros, an official source revealed.<\/p>\n

The company explained that it has \u201cproducts present in the main national retail brands\u201d and that its \u201cobjectives for 2024 are to increase turnover to 10 million euros and expand into international markets\u201d.<\/p>\n

The group recalled that \u201cit emerged in 2018 as an international ‘sourcing’ [supply] company, but the business quickly evolved, and today the focus is on developing products and brands that adapt to the seasonality of the year\u201d.<\/p>\n

In the same note, the group said that \u201cit has already developed more than 5,000 products in the toy segment, party sets, costumes and party decorations, but also household items, such as small household appliances and kitchen accessories. , textile and ‘outdoor living’ [exterior], among others\u201d.<\/p>\n

The company also said that it entered, at the end of 2023, the public sales segment, \u201cwith the launch of two own stores \u2013 FUNIT \u2013 on the metro network, in Lisbon\u201d, and, \u201cfor this year, it intends to continue invest in this segment and expand up to 10 stores by the end of 2024\u201d.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe objectives for 2024 are ambitious and, in addition to the increase in turnover, which at this stage already has solid foundations for us to believe that it could exceed double digits, we want to open doors for internationalization\u201d, said Joa\u0303o Saramago Tavares, executive president of the company, mentioned in the same note.<\/p>\n
