Africa-Press – Cape verde. <\/strong><\/span>Registration for the 10th edition of the Volta a Djeu, an open water swimming event, from Laginha beach to Ilhe\u0301u dos Pa\u0301ssaros over a distance of 5.2 kilometers, is open until July 20th.<\/p>\n

This information was provided by the Regional Swimming Association in Sa\u0303o Vicente, which organizes the competition, scheduled to take place on August 10th.<\/p>\n

According to the regulations published by the association, swimmers aged 18 or over, of Cape Verdean nationality, can participate in the open water discipline under conditions stipulated by the organization.<\/p>\n

As stated in the same regulations, prizes will be awarded to the first three classified in each category and gender.<\/p>\n

The athlete must register online, pay for it and sign the liability waiver, but will be disqualified if they enter the data incorrectly.<\/p>\n

To register, national participants pay two thousand escudos and foreigners pay 50 euros. Prizes will be awarded to the absolute male and female winners, the top three classified in each category and the first absolute teams with the most points, both female and male.<\/p>\n
