Speaking to Inforpress, Jovino Gomes assured that the silting situation at the port was predictable, since the movement of sand on that beach is something that happens practically every year.<\/p>\n

Therefore, he said it was surprising that such a situation had not been taken into account in the \u201csupposed environmental impact study\u201d, stressing that like him, the majority of Mayans are unaware of this document.<\/p>\n

On the other hand, he accuses, young people \u201care without a solution\u201d and are leaving the island to look for jobs elsewhere.<\/p>\n
