Africa-Press – Cape verde. <\/strong><\/span>The forest perimeter of Planalto Leste, in Santo Anta\u0303o, more specifically in Ribeira\u0303o Fundo, was once again attacked by flames, which broke out at around 12:00, confirmed the Civil Protection Service.<\/p>\n

This is the second fire to occur this week in Ribeira\u0303o Fundo, which is affecting a forest area and agricultural land.<\/p>\n

As Inforpress learned from the Porto Novo Volunteer Fire Department, the warning of the new fire in Ribeira\u0303o Fundo was given by members of the public, with corporations from the three municipalities mobilizing to fight the flames.<\/p>\n

This site was the target on Monday, the 27th, of a large fire that consumed \u201cmore than ten hectares\u201d of the forest.<\/p>\n

This is the fourth fire to occur this year in the Planalto Leste forest perimeter, having so far burned \u201cmore than 12 hectares\u201d of the forest.<\/p>\n
