Africa-Press – Cape verde. <\/strong><\/span>The Porto Novo City Council intends, later this year, to invest more than 14 thousand contos in the construction of a children’s playground in the city, with the location for the construction having already been identified.<\/p>\n

This project is included in the municipality’s investment plan for this year 2024, to which Inforpress had access.<\/p>\n

However, the mayor of Porto Novo, Ani\u0301bal Fonseca, on the occasion of International Children’s Day, which is celebrated today, said \u201cto renew the commitment to do everything to, together with families, schools, gardens and society, protect of children\u201d in the municipality.<\/p>\n

\u201cIn our municipality, the municipal council is the institution responsible for managing 18 kindergartens and it makes perfect sense to be at the side of the little ones at all times, always safeguarding the promotion of their rights and duties\u201d, highlighted the mayor in message aimed at children in the municipality.<\/p>\n

The highlight of the International Children’s Day celebrations in the municipality of Porto Novo takes place today in the cultural village, where hundreds of children participate in various recreational, cultural and sporting activities.<\/p>\n

At night, the final of the children’s voices festival takes place, in which ten children from school groups 1 and 2 participate, both in the city of Porto Novo.<\/p>\n
