The person saying this is the deputy from the Movement for Democracy (MpD), power, Damia\u0303o Medina, in response to what he considers \u201clack of respect\u201d from the PAICV (opposition) representatives in classifying the roads as small works.<\/p>\n

The inhabitants of excavation communities, according to the parliamentarian, have made their lives much easier in every way, thanks to the construction and rehabilitation of excavation roads in more than ten locations, covering a length of more than 40 kilometers, \u201cinvesting around 1. 5 million and 500 thousand contos to date\u201d.<\/p>\n

According to Damia\u0303o Medina, \u201c the work continues\u201d anticipating the construction and requalification of more roads in Santo Anta\u0303o to \u201cbring development to communities, promote employment, tourism, the flow of products, but also contribute to the settlement of people\u201d.<\/p>\n

The Government has already announced the requalification, starting this year, of the access roads to Ribeira dos Bodes and Ribeira Fria (Porto Novo) and Caibros (Ribeira Grande), having also announced that studies will be carried out \u201csoon\u201d with a view to building the road to Dominguinhas (Porto Novo).<\/p>\n

Still in the municipality of Porto Novo, residents have been asking for the requalification of the Ribeira da Cruz \u2013 Cha\u0303 de Norte and Campo Redondo \u2013 Cha\u0303 de Norte roads.<\/p>\n
