The Blue Economy Policy Charter, the National Investment Plan for the Blue Economy and the Regime for the Management of Fishing Activities in Maritime Waters and on the High Seas are important instruments that Cape Verde has at its disposal, approved and are being implemented&#8221;, he assures.<\/p>\n<p>The Prime Minister reaffirms the objectives of sustainable management of ocean and coastal resources, and of positioning Cape Verde as a centre for the development of skills in the field of the blue economy.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Knowledge and protection of marine biodiversity and coastal areas, ocean literacy and integration into a very interesting initiative called the Atlantic Blue Schools Network are important for supporting the sustainable exploitation of marine resources and for the education and training of young people from an early age.
