Africa-Press – Cape verde. <\/strong><\/span>The President of Angola Jo\u00e3o Louren\u00e7o on Sunday began a four-day visit to Cabo Verde, which aims to \u201celevate and consolidate\u201d existing \u201cexcellent relations\u201d and authenticate the strategic partnership between the two countries.<\/p>\n

Jo\u00e3o Louren\u00e7o, who arrived this afternoon in Praia, is accompanied by the first lady, Ana Dias Louren\u00e7o, the Ministers of Foreign Affairs and Transport and senior officials of the Presidency of the Republic of Angola, will fulfill an intense visit program in Praia and Mindelo.<\/p>\n

The presence of the Angolan President in Cabo Verde \u201cfurther sets the bilateral relationship and a dimension in line with the long common history, intense cultural harmony and excellent political understanding that has always existed between the two countries\u201d.<\/p>\n

In the capital of the country, according to the agenda, the Angolan Head of State will hold a meeting with his counterpart Jos\u00e9 Maria Neves, at the palace of the Presidency of the Republic, and also planned an intervention in the special session of the Cabo Verdean Parliament, at the invitation of the President of the National Assembly.<\/p>\n
