Africa-Press – Cape verde. <\/strong><\/span>The Angolan First Lady Ana Dias Louren\u00e7o visited the Tr\u00e1s-os-Montes Pottery Cooperative in Tarrafal de Santiago on Monday and said it is proof that cooperatives increase women\u2019s self-esteem and income.<\/p>\n

The wife of the Angolan President, Jo\u00e3o Louren\u00e7o, who is visiting Cabo Verde, said to the press at the end of the visit to this region at the municipality of Tarrafal, where she called on the female communities to organize in cooperatives.<\/p>\n

According to the Angolan visitor, it is in the cooperatives the women will have the opportunity to develop their skills and do things that can increase their self-esteem and their income, making them empowered.<\/p>\n
