Africa-Press – Cape verde. <\/strong><\/span>The Minister of Industry, Trade and Energy, Alexandre Monteiro, warned on Monday, in Praia, that there is a trend to increase, \u201ceven more\u201d, fuel and energy prices.<\/p>\n

The remark was made in statements to journalists moments before the opening of the open day held by the parliamentary group of the Movement for Democracy (MpD) on the theme \u201cImpact of the Russia\/Ukraine war on price increases in Cabo Verde\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cThe trend is this, we are monitoring this situation and we will wait for what happens by the end of the month, but so far what is happening is that there has been an increase,\u201d noted the Minister.<\/p>\n

To take care of this situation, the Minister explained that because fuel prices are \u201cset\u201d in the international market, what has been done in Cabo Verde are the adjustments, \u201cbased on the existing costs\u201d.<\/p>\n
