Africa-Press – Cape verde. <\/strong><\/span>The octogenarian Ant\u00f3nio Santos Neves delivers today, a donation to Iraque residents, in Ribeira de Juli\u00e3o, in S\u00e3o Vicente, which he raised with her daughter and singer Lutchinha and her sisters in the United States.<\/p>\n

Speaking to Inforpress, Ant\u00f3nio Santos Neves, better known as Ant\u00f3nio Sancha, explained that the idea to helping the Iraque community came when he was in the hospital and watched a television report on the conditions of the residents at that area.<\/p>\n

Thus, he said, he decided to make efforts to collect food items, clothing and school supplies to minimize the living conditions of the people on this community.<\/p>\n

\u201cI watched a video about the community and it moved me in such a way that I decided to help because we have many people facing difficulties in Cabo Verde. I will deliver donations ranging from rice, sugar, backpacks, notebooks, pens, pencils, chocolate, sheets, clothes, toys, hygiene materials among others\u201d, said Ant\u00f3nio Sancha who was deeply touched by those with the greatest need.<\/p>\n
