For An\u00edbal Fonseca, \u201cthere is no conspiracy\u201d but a \u201cnormal electoral process\u201d for the April 3 elections in Porto Novo, and he denies that Carlita Santos’ candidacy for the CPC is a \u201cghost\u201d.<\/p>\n

\u201cThere is no robbery process here. There is a democratic process underway, and I, An\u00edbal Fonseca, as a militant of the MpD, have rights and duties, one of which is to be elected and to elect representatives of my party to the municipal bodies\u201d, says An\u00edbal Fonseca to A Na\u00e7\u00e3o.<\/p>\n

Fonseca completely excludes the accusation of conspiring against Dami\u00e3o Medina, who is re-candidate for the leadership of the CPC, and emphasizes that the elections are democratic and free and the party’s militants, as he says, have the right to choose.<\/p>\n
