Africa-Press – Cape verde. <\/strong><\/span>The Minister of Education, Amadeu Cruz, said on Thursday that the Government expects from the new Dean of the Uni-CV alignment on the educational offer to fulfill the \u201cgreat designs\u201d of the country and its economic, cultural and scientific development.<\/p>\n

Amadeu Cruz made these remarks in statements to the press, on the sidelines of the sworn in of the new Dean of Uni-CV, Jos\u00e9 Arlindo Barreto, which took place this afternoon on the campus of the University of Cabo Verde in Palmarejo.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe are in a new stage of the higher education consolidation in Cabo Verde and Uni-CV is the main and most robust pillar of the university system in the country, so we hope that there will be conditions for it to continue to develop its teaching, research and distinction activities,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

The Minister, who believes that for these purposes Uni-CV will serve the Cabo Verde development process in a complete and comprehensive way, expects the new Dean and his team to work on the alignment on the educational offer to fulfill the great designs of the country and its economic, cultural and scientific development.<\/p>\n
