Africa-Press – Cape verde. <\/strong><\/span>The Prime Minister, Ulisses Correia e Silva, said on Tuesday that the Government wants to position Sal centrally in tourism and air transport, hence the reason for the movement of the Ministry of Tourism and Transport to this island.<\/p>\n

Ulisses Correia e Silva made these statements at the opening ceremony of the new Ministry of Tourism and Transport facilities in the Sal Island, established in the Sonangol building in Espargos.<\/p>\n

Like S\u00e3o Vicente, where the Ministry of the Sea was also installed, the head of the Government explained that these decisions reflect the deconcentration and decentralization policy of the State services, in order to seek to take greater advantage of the vocation of each island and promote the \u201charmonious development\u201d of the country.<\/p>\n

Ulisses Correia e Silva took the time to also announce the installation, in the near future, of the Tourism Industry and Civil Aeronautics Institute on the island, within the framework of the Technical University of the Atlantic.<\/p>\n
