Africa-Press – Cape verde. <\/strong><\/span>The City Hall of S\u00e3o Vicente hopes to continue to rely on UNICEF\u2019s partnership to implement a diverse range of actions and projects it has underway, towards the children protection.<\/p>\n

Who said it was the Councilman Rodrigo Rendall, on Tuesday, in S\u00e3o Vicente, after a meeting he held with the head of the Joint Office of UNDP, UNFPA and UNICEF, Steve Ursino, who for these days is in the North of the country for contacts with local authorities and learn on the \u201cgains and challenges\u201d still persist in the realization of children\u2019s rights in S\u00e3o Vicente and Santo Ant\u00e3o.<\/p>\n

Rodrigo Rendall considered the meeting, which also involved leaders from the Cabo Verdean Institute of Children and Adolescents (ICCA), \u201cvery fruitful\u201d, since it will be possible, as he said, to materialize some projects that the municipality wants to see reinforced, among them, \u201cas a priority\u201d, the increase of the network of kindergartens and the number of daycare centers.<\/p>\n
