Africa-Press – Cape verde. <\/strong><\/span>The National Institute of Public Health (INSP), holds this Friday, April 1, the workshop \u201cFor a Welfare Society: Health, Environments and Cities\u201d to sensitize Cape Verdean society in the implementation of normative measures and promotional activities in order to protect the health and well-being of people and the planet.<\/p>\n

The event scheduled for 9 am in the INSP meeting room, Praia, takes place within the scope of the declaration of the year 2022 as the \u201cYear of Health Security\u201d in Cabo Verde and in celebration of World Health Day, marked on April 7 , according to a press release.<\/p>\n

\u201cSocio-economic well-being, Today’s challenges\u201d is one of the topics to be addressed in this workshop by Avelino Bonif\u00e1cio, as well as \u201cWater, sanitation and our cities presented\u201d, presented by Cl\u00e1udio Santos.<\/p>\n

The main objective of this event, one of many that the INSP has held as the coordinating entity of the Multisectoral Committee for the \u201cOne Health\u201d approach, is to sensitize Cape Verdean society in the implementation of normative and promotional measures in order to protect health. and well-being of people and the planet.<\/p>\n

It should be remembered that the motto chosen this year to mark World Health Day is \u201cOur Planet, Our Health\u201d, taking into account that the social, economic and health consequences of people around the world, caused by covid-19, challenge everyone , especially the authorities, to commit to integrated responses to public health problems.<\/p>\n

\u201cWorkshop \u201cFor a Welfare Society: Health, Environments and Cities\u201d starts at 9 am this Friday, April 1st, in the INSP meeting room, Praia, chaired in the presence of the representative of the World Health Organization in Cape Verde, Daniel Kertez.<\/p>\n
