Africa-Press – Cape verde. <\/strong><\/span>The Agostinho Neto University Hospital (HUAN) will host the 19th Neuropediatrics Mission from the 23rd to the 27th of this month, an initiative that foresees the performance of hundreds of clinical evaluations, distributed across four specialized workstations.<\/p>\n

According to a press release, the first station will be dedicated to General Neuropediatrics, with the participation of several specialists, including Albertina Lima, Rita Silva, and Darius Lima.<\/p>\n

Station 2 will be complemented with Epilepsy consultations, provided by Anto\u0301nia Fortes, Ana Isabel Dias, and Severino Almeida.<\/p>\n

Also according to the same source, Station 3 will be dedicated to electroencephalograms, under the responsibility of nurse Maria Mendonc\u0327a.<\/p>\n

Station 4 will focus on consultations on development and autism spectrum disorder, conducted by Teresa Temudo and speech therapist Deisy Rodrigues.<\/p>\n

At the same time, physiotherapy assessments will also be conducted in all rooms by physiotherapist Christy Saloma\u0303o, reinforcing the multidisciplinary approach of this mission.<\/p>\n

Also within these activities, as part of the 19th mission, the Agostinho Neto University Hospital will focus on “Neurocutaneous Diseases \u2013 which specialty is not involved?” on February 26th.<\/p>\n
