Africa-Press – Cape verde. <\/strong><\/span>The executive director of the National Institute of Public Health (INSP), J\u00falio Rodrigues, said on Tuesday, in the City of Praia, that Cabo Verde ranks 11th in the ranking of countries most exposed to risks associated with climate change.<\/p>\n

This responsible also pointed out that Cabo Verde has about 150.000 people exposed to food difficulties and he stressed that all these issues imply health.<\/p>\n

J\u00falio Rodrigues made this statement during his presentation of the theme \u201cClimate change \u2013 its impacts on health and water sustainability\u201d, within the scope of the \u201cWorkshop for a welfare society: Health, environments and cities\u201d, carried out by the INSP as the coordinating entity of the multisectoral committee for the \u201cone health\u201d approach.<\/p>\n

The aim is to raise awareness among Cabo Verdean society for the implementation of regulatory and promotional measures to protect the health and well-being of people and the planet in a \u201cone-health\u201d approach.<\/p>\n
