Africa-Press – Cape verde. <\/strong><\/span>The planning project for the Ribeira das Patas watershed, in the municipality of Porto Novo, in Santo Ant\u00e3o, will be \u201ca reality\u201d, with the start of the project scheduled for early 2023.<\/p>\n

The planning of the Ribeira das Patas watershed was the subject of a meeting, Tuesday, between the Organization of the United Nations for Food and Agriculture (FAO) team, which is in Santo Ant\u00e3o, and the City Hall of Porto Novo, which said they believes that the project will be \u201ca reality\u201d.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe mission to the municipality of Porto Novo aims to share and collect subsidies for the conceptual structure of the project, its intervention strategy and expected results, at the local level,\u201d the City Hall said in a statement.<\/p>\n

Also in Santo Ant\u00e3o, the Gar\u00e7a watershed, in Ribeira Grande, will be managed as part of a package, which also includes Ribeira Seca in Santiago, estimated at 2.18 million dollars.<\/p>\n
