Africa-Press – Cape verde. <\/strong><\/span>CV Telecom and the Ministry of Education have initialled a cooperation agreement for the award of a scientific prize to distinguish a master\u2019s or doctoral thesis from a Cabo Verdean researcher in the field of ICT.<\/p>\n

The agreement was initialed by the chairman of the board of directors of CV Telecom, Jo\u00e3o Domingos, and the Secretary of State for Higher Education, Euridice Monteiro.<\/p>\n

It is responsible for awarding a scientific prize called the Cabo Verde Award for girls and women in ICT (PGW\u201d) and distinguishing a master\u2019s or doctoral thesis from a Cabo Verdean researcher in the field of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) residing in the country or in the Diaspora.<\/p>\n

According to the document, it is intended with the creation of this award to boost the action of science and the impact of scientific and technological knowledge in the country, promote the insertion of Cabo Verde in the global scientific system and make the country a platform of knowledge.<\/p>\n
