Africa-Press – Cape verde. <\/strong><\/span>The Government and the PAICV (opposition party) reached a consensus on Monday for the election of bodies outside Parliament, which requires a qualified majority of two-thirds, in a meeting of almost 90 minutes, in a hotel in the capital.<\/p>\n

The result was made known to the press by the Prime Minister, Ulisses Correia e Silva, and the president of the African Independence Party of Cabo Verde (PAICV, opposition party) Rui Semedo.<\/p>\n

The Head of the Government considered the PAICV \u201can important actor\u201d to achieve a majority and assured that in this second parliamentary session of April, taking place on 26th, 27th and 28th, will be approved and elected the Parliament representatives to the Superior Council for Judicial Judiciary and Public Prosecutor, as well as to the Constitutional Court.<\/p>\n

By June the parties will be able to raise awareness of the other representations, according to the same source.<\/p>\n
