Africa-Press – Cape verde. <\/strong><\/span>The City Hall of Praia (CMP) implemented the \u201cTogether in Local Transformation\u201d project aimed at decentralizing local services, announced the general project coordinator, Sonia Tavares.<\/p>\n

The person responsible provided this information to the press, on the sidelines of the closing ceremony of four \u201cConceptual confluence and training sessions\u201d, framed in the city roadmap methodology, carried out in the framework of the process for the elaboration of five socio-economic diagnoses and their respective strategic intervention plans in the municipality of Praia.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe project is funded by the Decentralisation Fund, started in March 2021 and the completion date is scheduled for June 2022 and has as its general objective to strengthen and decentralise local services and also strengthen the skills and capacities of civil society organisations in Praia to play a more active role in our development process\u201d, she explained.<\/p>\n

According to this responsible, the project has three specific objectives, which have to do with the strengthening and decentralization of local services, through the \u201creinforcement\u201d of three municipal delegations and also strengthen seven multipurpose rooms of different services and unconcentrated structures, under the management of the City Hall of Praia.<\/p>\n
