After failing the first attempt, last week, against Acad\u00e9mico 83 \u2013 writes Inforpress -, on the afternoon of this Saturday, 23, the Turma Encarnada da Vila do Barreiro, who needed a draw, managed to defeat Onze Unidos thus winning the Regional Title.<\/p>\n

At the end of the game held at the Municipal Stadium “Dau d’Segunda”, in the City of Porto Ingl\u00eas – the Capital of the Municipality of Maio -, Coach “Z\u00e9 Badiu” was a “proud” man, for having assumed the leadership of Barreirense the halfway through the championship, but, above all, for having won this title as well as the player of this team for some years now.<\/p>\n

\u201cZ\u00e9 Badiu\u201d promises to work to make a good representation during the National Championship and dignify the Colors of the Turma da Vila de Barreiro.<\/p>\n

For his part, the president of Barreirense, Malaquias Ribeiro, made it known that the title won is the result of a \u201cplanned work\u201d, since the beginning of the season and dedicated the victory to the entire Associative Mass of the Club, both in the country and in the Diaspora.<\/p>\n

The scorer of the goal that gave Barreirense the victory, \u201cDjery\u201d, in turn, said he felt \u201ca fulfilled person\u201d. for having achieved the two proposed objectives: to be the best scorer of the event and to win the Regional Title.<\/p>\n

He promised to work to \u201cbe even better\u201d and continue to help his Team to achieve \u201cthe best possible results\u201d in the Cape Verdean Prova Maior.<\/p>\n
