Africa-Press – Cape verde. <\/strong><\/span>The Court of Auditors of Cabo Verde referred to the Public Prosecutor\u2019s Office a total of 42 accounts due to irregularities and instituted 210 fines proceedings in a total of 1.663 cases filed in 2021.<\/p>\n

The data appears in the report of the 2021, delivered this Monday to the President of the National Assembly, by the President of the Court of Auditors, Jo\u00e3o da Cruz Silva, who stated that irregularities have to do, above all, with situations of violation of financial norms, and the objective is to investigate sanctioning or integrating responsibilities.<\/p>\n

As reported to journalists there were 210 devolutions for reasons that have to do with process not duly conducted or else that were exempt from the Court of Auditors prior approval.<\/p>\n

\u201cThere was a refusal of prior approval and volume of resources inspected total 58 million escudos\u201d, he said, adding that at the the first section carried out three audits, namely to the City Hall of Santa Cruz and S\u00e3o Louren\u00e7o dos Org\u00e3os and the Infrastructure of Cabo Verde, whose reports have not yet been judged.<\/p>\n
