Africa-Press – Cape verde. <\/strong><\/span>The athlete Artur Silva and the cyclist N\u00e9lio Cruz, both from S\u00e3o Vicente, won this Tuesday the athletics and cycling racing, respectively, part of the of the Municipality Day festivities and the Flag of S\u00e3o Filipe.<\/p>\n

In relation to men\u2019s athletics, of the 20 initially enrolled (male and female) participated in the event 13 athletes, 11 male and two girls, due to the withdrawal of six athletes from Santiago (three men and three women) and one from S\u00e3o Vicente, due to the difficulty in transporting from their islands to S\u00e3o Filipe.<\/p>\n

Thus, the athlete Artur Silva, who last Friday won the first place of the Coffee Race, held in the Mosteiros, was the winner of the Municipality of S\u00e3o Filipe Day race, by making the route S\u00e3o Filipe \/ Almada \/ S\u00e3o Filipe, in time of 29 minutes and 54 seconds.<\/p>\n

In the second position was the athlete from Brava, he also was in the Coffee Race in second position, Rubem Monteiro was ranked, with a time of 30 minutes and 21 seconds, in third position Edy Monteiro from the municipality of Santa catarina do Fogo (30 minutes and 33 seconds) and in fourth position, Kenny Miranda from Mosteiros (30 minutes and 54 seconds) he won five times this race.<\/p>\n
