Africa-Press – Cape verde. <\/strong><\/span>The Multisectoral Regulatory Agency for the Economy (ARME) has just updated, at 43$00, the fares for Collective Urban Passenger Transport for the year 2022, in Praia and Mindelo, effective from May 1st.<\/p>\n

This is, according to a note from ARME, the increase in cost per kilometre, explained mainly by the increase in the price of fuels, combined with the passenger rate per equivalent kilometre, which is expected to be almost unchanged from the last update, determines that the fare of Urban Public Passenger Transport increases from 41 to 43$00 in Praia and from 40 to 43 $00, Mindelo, S\u00e3o Vicente.<\/p>\n

The same source recalls that the public and urban passenger transport fare is reviewed annually, through the average cost calculation, which considers consumable prices, depreciation and compensation parameters of vehicles and information on demand and supply.<\/p>\n

Moreover, he adds, the balance rate is determined by the ratio of cost per kilometre (CVE\/km) to the passenger rate per kilometre equivalent (IPKE).<\/p>\n
