Africa-Press – Cape verde. <\/strong><\/span>The city of Assomada, municipality of Santa Catarina de Santiago, receives, this Sunday, two athletics events, framed in the celebrations of the 13th of May, the day on which the city completes 21 years of its elevation to the category.<\/p>\n

Both competitions, one of resistance and another of speed, start at 09:00, with the participation of about seventy athletes, between men, women and junior, according to a statement issued by the municipality.<\/p>\n

The endurance race will be run between Achada L\u00e9m (Fundura) and Assomada (Pedestrian Zone), with the participation of male and female athletes.<\/p>\n

The speed test is held in the Pedestrian Zone, with the participation of male, female and junior athletes.<\/p>\n

The event is organized by the Youth and Sports Department.<\/p>\n
