Africa-Press – Cape verde. <\/strong><\/span>The Cabo Verdean \u00d3scar Monteiro, about 40 years old, coach of the African student team, died on Sunday night, the 8th, in Bragan\u00e7a, after a road accident with a motorcycle in the Northern city of Portugal.<\/p>\n

The identity of the late was confirmed to Inforpress by a Cabo Verdean student in Bragan\u00e7a, who said he was unable to provide more information, because the whole community \u201cis in shock\u201d due to the coach\u2019s death, well known in the academic community.<\/p>\n

\u00d3scar Monteiro, who had lived for several years in Bragan\u00e7a, where he went to study at the Polytechnic Institute, was president of the African Students Association and coach of the African Students Team of Bragan\u00e7a, which is devoting to soccer in that city.<\/p>\n

Information provided by source from the Volunteer Firefighters of Bragan\u00e7a to the local press tell that the death of \u00d3scar Monteiro was declared in the Bragan\u00e7a Hospital to where he was transported with very serious injuries he suffered after the motorcycle accident in one of the streets in that city.<\/p>\n
