Africa-Press – Cape verde. <\/strong><\/span>The mayor of Santa Cruz announced on Tuesday that the municipality, through the North Santiago Regional Football Association (ARFSN), will apply to headquarters the final of the National Football Championship, scheduled for July 9.<\/p>\n

The competition started on May 14, but the final is scheduled for July 9, and according to the Cabo Verdean Football Federation (FCF), the sports regions will have to apply to receive the Cabo Verde championship final game of the 2021\/2022 season.<\/p>\n

Carlos Silva, who was speaking to the press at the end of the FCF President M\u00e1rio Semedo visit to the 5 de Julho Municipal Stadium, accompanied by the African Football Confederation (CAF) coaches, assured that the rehabilitation work of this sports infrastructure will be completed in mid-June.<\/p>\n

Hence, he said he believes that they will be able to deliver the sports infrastructure to the ARFSN so that it can apply for the final of the National Football Championship to be held in Santa Cruz, in the countryside of Santiago, whose region is represented in the competition by Varandinha do Tarrafal.<\/p>\n
