Africa-Press – Cape verde. <\/strong><\/span>Prices of imported products increased 1.4 percent (%) in April this year to 1.6 percentage points (p.p.) than in the previous month, according to the National Institute of Statistics (INE).<\/p>\n

According to the Foreign Trade Price Index released today by the INE, the monthly change rate in the prices of exported products was -0.4% in April 2022, a value lower than 0.1 p.p. compared to the previous month.<\/p>\n

According to the same source, the monthly change rate recorded by the Terms of Exchange Index was -1.1%, increased by 1.5 p.p. compared to the previous month.<\/p>\n

The import price index stood at 111.2 and increased by 1.4% over the previous month. On the other hand, the underlying and volatile import indices grew 1.4% and 1.5% respectively.<\/p>\n
