Africa-Press – Cape verde. <\/strong><\/span>The mayor of Praia, Francisco Carvalho, made a positive assessment of the 28th edition of the Gamboa Festival, highlighting the \u201cmass\u201d presence of people and recognizing needs for improvement in some aspects.<\/p>\n

\u201cOne first thing I want to stress is that we are all aware that we have seen a large presence. The population of Praia, and not only, was present in mass at the Gamboa Festival,\u201d Francisco Carvalho said at a press conference.<\/p>\n

The mayor also said it was important to stress that in terms of the environment and in terms of the feelings that people developed in relation to this festival was \u201cextremely positive\u201d and \u201cof joy\u201d.<\/p>\n

\u201cA very positive assessment was made, just as well things proceed normally, obviously due to the efforts of a huge group of people, institutions and employees,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
