Africa-Press – Cape verde. <\/strong><\/span>The coordinator of the African Science Week highlighted the need for the engagement of the educational community, scientists and civil society in promoting the teaching of science and the development of critical thinking in Cabo Verde.<\/p>\n

Anyse Essoh made these statements to the press on the sidelines of the opening ceremony of the third edition of the African Science Week, held under the Pan African Next Einstein Forum program on the Campus of the University of Cabo Verde in the City of Praia.<\/p>\n

As she said, every two years, an ambassador in each African country is selected to carry out activities aimed at promoting and fostering Science, Technology and Engineering and Mathematics (STEM).<\/p>\n

\u201cThis is the third edition of the African Science Week in Cabo Verde and from 23 to 27 this month, we will have a set of activities whose objective is to bring science to the stage. We kick off today at the University of Cabo Verde, in a mix of high school students and university professors and researchers,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n
