Africa-Press – Cape verde. <\/strong><\/span>The vendors give a positive note to the 16th edition of the agricultural fair (FEPASA ), which ended last Sunday , in Porto, with the participation of around 60 exhibitors from all over the island of Santo Ant\u00e3o.<\/p>\n

Tereza Neves, from Ribeira da Cruz, who brought mainly agricultural products, said she liked the \u201cgreat movement of people\u201d during the fair, adding that the sale exceeded her expectations.<\/p>\n

“Everything went well. There was a great movement of people and I sold a lot in these three days of the fair\u201d, noted this farmer.<\/p>\n

Agricultural producer Oct\u00e1vio Inoc\u00eancio, from Ch\u00e3 de Branquinho, also liked the way in which this exhibition of agricultural products took place, stating that, in addition to showing his products to the public (grogue and others), the fair also allowed him to do business.<\/p>\n

Farmer Saturnino Rodrigues, from Alto Mira, also gave a \u201cpositive note\u201d to the Santo Ant\u00e3o agricultural fair, which, in his view, was \u201ca great show\u201d of agriculture and livestock in Santo Ant\u00e3o, with greater emphasis on Porto Novo, municipality of Santo Ant\u00e3o. which, despite the drought, asserts itself as \u201ca major producer of vegetables\u201d.<\/p>\n

However, in terms of crafts, sales fell short of expectations, according to artisan Nelida Rodrigues.
