Africa-Press – Cape verde. <\/strong><\/span>The future university campus of the Higher Institute of Technologies and Agricultural Sciences of Santo Ant\u00e3o (ISCTA-SA) will be built in the city of Porto Novo, as recommended in the technical studies already carried out by the Ministry of Education.<\/p>\n

The Mayor of Porto Novo, An\u00edbal Fonseca, confirms that there are already technical studies which point to the city of Porto Novo, due to the \u201cphysical conditions\u201d it has, as the location of the future university campus of this Institute, which begins operating from October, provisionally, in facilities provided by municipalities and private individuals.<\/p>\n

An\u00edbal Fonseca told Inforpress that his City Hall will be \u201cavailable\u201d to offer the land for the construction of the university building, by signing an agreement with the Ministry of Education.<\/p>\n

The higher education was officially launched in Santo Ant\u00e3o early this June by the Prime Minister, Ulisses Correia e Silva, who reported that the Government is already creating the conditions for the construction of the future university campus.<\/p>\n
