Africa-Press – Cape verde. <\/strong><\/span>The President of the Republic, Jos\u00e9 Maria Neves, said today that the competent authorities must carry out a rigorous investigation into the circumstances of the evacuation and death of the teenager Djonny, aged 14, which took place on August 1st.<\/p>\n

The PR made this appeal after, as he said, having spoken on the phone with the nurse and father of the victim, Jo\u00e3o da Cruz, to hear his version of the facts and learn of the indignation of the Bravians.<\/p>\n

In a post on his personal Facebook page, Jos\u00e9 Maria Neves said he considered it important that the competent authorities order a \u201crigorous inquiry into the circumstances of the evacuation and death of the teenager\u201d.<\/p>\n
