Deputies cannot approve either laws or resolutions that imply an increase in costs in the current economic year\u201d, he said, implying that his party will not approve the PAICV’s draft resolution.<\/p>\n

CM can request external audit<\/p>\n

Euclides Silva added, on the other hand, that the Coco Market is a municipal work, so he considers that the Praia City Council, if it wishes, could request an external audit of the work.<\/p>\n

The parliamentarian also added that the National Assembly, as a national body, would not have much to debate on this issue because the municipalities have their statutes and their legislative body, which are the Municipal Assemblies.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe municipalities have Municipal Assemblies to discuss municipal policies and the relevance of municipal works that are carried out in the municipalities\u201d, he said, adding, however, that the MpD parliamentary group is available to debate this and other issues during the session.<\/p>\n

More than a million contos injected<\/p>\n
