Africa-Press – Cape verde. <\/strong><\/span>The 2022 edition of the Santiago Island Trail is scheduled for the 28th and 29th of October. The competition takes place in the municipalities of Sa\u0303o Domingos, O\u0301rga\u0303os and Ribeira Grande.<\/p>\n

The trail takes place in the disciplines of walking, short trail, long trail and kids trail.<\/p>\n

According to the Cape Verdean Athletics Federation, registration is now open, through a link created for this purpose, and is free for athletes and hikers.<\/p>\n

Organized by In Totum Lda, the Institute of Sport and Youth and the office of the Minister for Youth and Sport, the Trail d’Santiago has the technical support of the Cape Verdean Athletics Federation, the Cape Verde Tourism Institute, of the Government, the Municipal Councils of Sa\u0303o Lourenc\u0327o dos O\u0301rga\u0303os, Ribeira Grande de Santiago, Sa\u0303o Domingos and the Ministry of Tourism and Transport.<\/p>\n

The competition has institutional partners such as CV Mobile and Emicela Cabo Verde.<\/p>\n
