Africa-Press – Cape verde. <\/strong><\/span>The coordinator of the National Program for the Prevention and Control of Oncological Diseases, Wednesday, appealed for the early diagnosis of breast cancer to better prevention of<\/p>\n

the disease.<\/p>\n

Carla Barbosa indicated that, in the country, there are an average of 50 cases and 14 deaths per year, hence the recommendation to prevent the disease, which emerged within the scope of a seminar of \u201c\u201cMultisectoriality in the fight against breast cancer\u201d\u201d held this morning, at the National Institute of Public Health (INSP). This year celebrated under the motto \u201cEarly detection within the scope within the scope October Rosa\u201d.<\/p>\n

\u201cIn the month of October, the National Program for the Prevention and Control of Oncological diseases joins other institutions to bring the topic of breast cancer and remember that cases arise every day and that is why we must raise awareness for the prevention of breast cancer\u201d, said Carla Barbosa.<\/p>\n

In order to stop the trend of increasing cases, the specialist also highlighted that early diagnosis is the promotion of research in the area that, in Cape Verde, detects an average of 50 cases of breast cancer and an average of 14 deaths from women per year.<\/p>\n
