Africa-Press – Cape verde. <\/strong><\/span>The President of the Republic was distinguished this Saturday afternoon, in Morocco, with the MEDays Grand Prix at the 14th edition of the MEDays Forum, which takes place under the theme \u201cFrom Crises to Crises \u2013 Towards a New World Order?\u201d.<\/p>\n

According to a press release from the Presidency of the Republic, this is an award given every year to countries, personalities, institutions, organizations or companies that have decisively contributed to the development of the South countries, or that have an increased real value in improving North-South or South-South relations.<\/p>\n

\u201cUntil 2019, the main winners were King Mohammed VI, MEDays Environment and Sustainable Development Award, MEDays 2009; Macky Sall, President of Senegal, 2019; Paul Kagame, 2015; Mehdi Jomaa, former Prime Minister of Tunisia, 2014; Diouncounda Traore\u0301, former interim president of Mali, 2013; Abdullah Abdullah, former leader of the Afghan opposition, 2010 and Morgan Tsvangirai, former Prime Minister of Zimbabwe, 2008\u201d, refers to the missive.<\/p>\n
