Africa-Press – Cape verde. <\/strong><\/span>The gala of the 5th edition of the National Architecture Prize (PNA) will take place today in the city of Tarrafal de Santiago, at the Handicraft and Culture Market, under the motto \u201cBuildings and public spaces for sustainable cities\u201d.<\/p>\n

The PNA 2022 presents the finalist projects in two categories of the award: in terms of \u201cBuildings\u201d and \u201cPublic Spaces\u201d. In addition, the attribution of honorable mentions in the two aforementioned categories.<\/p>\n

The event, scheduled for 19:00, will be chaired by the President of the Republic, Jose\u0301 Maria Neves and will feature interventions by the chairman of the Cape Verde Architects Order (OAC), Job Amado, the mayor of Tarrafal, Jose\u0301 dos Reis, and the Brazilian architects Danilo Terra and Pedro Tuma, from the Terra e Tuma office, who are the judges for the aforementioned award.<\/p>\n

The moment will also feature a musical performance by Princezito and the drummers Mudjeris de Boa Esperanc\u0327a.<\/p>\n

The PNA, created in 2007, aims to honor the architects and works that stand out each year and encourage good practices and projects that contribute to sustainable cities.<\/p>\n
