En effet, ce jeune coureur, sp\u00e9cialiste du 400m et du 800m, a \u00e9t\u00e9 s\u00e9lectionn\u00e9 pour \u00eatre l\u2019un des portes drapeaux de la d\u00e9l\u00e9gation centrafricaine aux Jeux Olympiques de Tokyo 2020. C\u2019\u00e9tait sa deuxi\u00e8me participation apr\u00e8s les Jeux Olympiques de Rio en 2016 o\u00f9 il n\u2019avait pas d\u00e9m\u00e9rit\u00e9.<\/p>\n

Apr\u00e8s avoir consacr\u00e9 ces quatre derni\u00e8res ann\u00e9es \u00e0 jongler entre sa vie de sportif de haut niveau et d\u2019\u00e9tudiant pour repr\u00e9senter au mieux son pays \u00e0 Tokyo, il n\u2019aura malheureusement pas r\u00e9ussi \u00e0 faire mieux qu\u2019au Br\u00e9sil. Il a fini 8\u00e8me de sa s\u00e9rie sur 800m en 1\u201948\u2019\u201926. Mais belle consolation, il bat le record du pays. \u00ab J\u2019ai explos\u00e9 mon meilleur temps personnel de deux secondes \u00bb se r\u00e9jouit-il. \u00ab Aujourd\u2019hui, je repars de Tokyo, dernier de ma course, mais pourtant quel sentiment d\u2019accomplissement ! La magie des jeux a op\u00e9r\u00e9. Elle me permet de r\u00eaver plus grand aux prochains JO. \u00bb<\/p>\n

Francky Mbotto revient des JO avec le sentiment d\u2019avoir r\u00e9alis\u00e9 un r\u00eave. Pourtant, il y a encore quelques ann\u00e9es, ce jeune centrafricain ne faisait pas d\u2019athl\u00e9tisme. Un an et demi avant les JO de Rio, il n\u2019avait jamais enfil\u00e9 de baskets \u00e0 pointes de course. Depuis, il repr\u00e9sente fi\u00e8rement la Centrafrique et multiplie les selfies avec les plus grands sportifs de ce monde. Il est la preuve que le sport et les \u00e9tudes, sont les meilleurs moyens de devenir de grands hommes de ce monde, et de compter parmi les fiert\u00e9s de sa nation.<\/p>\n
