Africa-Press – Congo Kinshasa. <\/strong><\/span>On se croirait dans une fore\u0302t ou\u0300 on peut certainement chasser et avoir du gibier, pourtant c\u2019est un stade qui porte le nom de Patrice Emery Lumumba, premier Premier ministre et he\u0301ros national dont on venait de ce\u0301le\u0301brer tambour battant le retour du reste au pays avec des belles paroles sans pourtant l\u2019honorer dans le vrai sens des mots.<\/b><\/p>\n

En de\u0301pit des multiples promesses de sa re\u0301habilitation, cette infrastructure sportive qui rafferme en elle-me\u0302me l\u2019histoire de la ville de Kisangani se trouve dans un e\u0301tat de de\u0301labrement tre\u0300s avance\u0301.<\/p>\n

Son aire de jeu notamment s\u2019est transforme\u0301 en un sanctuaire des reptiles a\u0300 la grande de\u0301solation des amoureux du ballon rond. Les vestiaires de ce stade sont devenus des toilettes publiques, les toilettes elles-me\u0302mes e\u0301tant hors usage.<\/p>\n

Ce stade qui, autrefois, accueillait des grands clubs du pays est aujourd\u2019hui incapable d’offrir son espace aux rencontres des clubs amateurs de la ville. Les championnats locaux se jouent dans des stades non conformes.<\/p>\n

\u00ab C’est vraiment dommage. Ce que je constate dans notre pays, l\u2019histoire n\u2019a pas de place. J\u2019ai grandi avec ce stade et j\u2019ai vu son importance pour la jeunesse \u00bb, regrette Charles Lututa, notable de la Tshopo.<\/p>\n

A\u0300 en croire, plusieurs rencontres sportives qui ont marque\u0301 l\u2019histoire du pays se sont joue\u0301es au stade Lumumba. \u00ab En 1955, lors de la premie\u0300re visite royale du Roi Baudouin, ce stade alors nomme\u0301 stade de Boeck, aujourd\u2019hui Lumumba, avait acceuilli un grand match entre Standard de Lie\u0300ge et la se\u0301lection d’Eurafricaine a\u0300 Kisangani \u00bb.<\/p>\n

Le stade Lumumba a e\u0301galement accueilli plusieurs activite\u0301s politiques marquantes de l\u2019histoire du pays. C\u2019est en son sein qu\u2019en 1959, l\u2019ancien Premier ministre Lumumba installa son parti apre\u0300s rupture avec Kalonji.<\/p>\n

Un autre fait important et non le moindre, c\u2019est qu\u2019en 1997, M\u2019ze\u0301e Laureant-De\u0301sire\u0301 Kabila obtiendra, dans ce stade, le feu vert pour continuer sa lutte vers Kinshasa. Autant d’e\u0301ve\u0301nements qui confe\u0300rent a\u0300 ce site son caracte\u0300re historique a\u0300 pre\u0301server.<\/p>\n

Face au triste sort re\u0301serve\u0301 au stade Lumumba, Charles Lututa a lance\u0301 un appel au Chef de l\u2019E\u0301tat, pour la re\u0301habiliter dudit stade.<\/p>\n
