Dans une lettre adresse\u0301e a\u0300 Laurent Gbagbo, ancien chef de l\u2019E\u0301tat et leader du PPA-CI, Ahoua Don Mello, cadre influent du parti de Gbagbo, lance un vibrant appel a\u0300 la responsabilite\u0301 historique et a\u0300 l\u2019unite\u0301 nationale.<\/p>\n

Refusant de s\u2019enfermer dans les logiques partisanes ou dans les fide\u0301lite\u0301s individuelles, Don Mello met en garde contre les pe\u0301rils que ferait courir a\u0300 la Co\u0302te d\u2019Ivoire une nouvelle candidature du pre\u0301sident Alassane Ouattara ou de l\u2019un de ses dauphins politiques. Selon lui, empe\u0302cher un quatrie\u0300me mandat \u2014 direct ou indirect \u2014 du pouvoir en place, serait avant tout un acte de pre\u0301servation de la paix et de pre\u0301vention d\u2019une crise qui pourrait replonger le pays dans le chaos.<\/p>\n

Plus qu\u2019un simple positionnement e\u0301lectoral, sa de\u0301marche s\u2019inscrit dans une lecture historique et presque philosophique de l\u2019e\u0301volution politique nationale. Loin des calculs politiciens, il insiste sur le fait que l\u2019histoire, tout comme la nature, ne revient jamais en arrie\u0300re. Et dans cette dynamique irre\u0301versible, la Co\u0302te d\u2019Ivoire ne peut plus se permettre de re\u0301pe\u0301ter les erreurs du passe\u0301.<\/p>\n

Pour Don Mello, l\u2019heure est grave. Il en appelle a\u0300 un sursaut collectif, un de\u0301passement des ambitions personnelles au profit de l\u2019inte\u0301re\u0302t supe\u0301rieur de la nation. Il exhorte Laurent Gbagbo a\u0300 prendre la mesure du moment et a\u0300 s\u2019inscrire dans une strate\u0301gie d\u2019ouverture et de rassemblement. Son souhait est clair: que l\u2019opposition patriotique se fe\u0301de\u0300re autour d\u2019un candidat unique, capable d\u2019incarner un ve\u0301ritable projet de socie\u0301te\u0301, de rallier toutes les sensibilite\u0301s et d\u2019offrir aux Ivoiriens une alternative cre\u0301dible et pacifique.<\/p>\n

Au c\u0153ur de cet appel se dessine une conviction forte: il ne s\u2019agit plus aujourd\u2019hui de fide\u0301lite\u0301 a\u0300 un homme ou a\u0300 un parti, mais d\u2019un engagement total envers la patrie, envers la ve\u0301rite\u0301, et envers l\u2019avenir. Une ve\u0301rite\u0301 qu\u2019il conside\u0300re comme implacable: la survie de\u0301mocratique de la Co\u0302te d\u2019Ivoire de\u0301pendra de sa capacite\u0301 a\u0300 construire une transition apaise\u0301e, loin des replis identitaires ou des strate\u0301gies de confrontation.<\/p>\n

Dans une pe\u0301riode ou\u0300 Laurent Gbagbo, ine\u0301ligible du fait de sa condamnation dans l’affaire du casse de la BCEAO, la lettre de Don Mello vient comme une alerte pour ne pas que le PPA-CI se retrouve sans candidat en octobre 2025.<\/p>\n
